What SwimSafer Stage 3 develops
This stage focuses on stride-jump entry, sculling, underwater skills, using a personal flotation device in the water and continuous swimming toward the stage’s 50-metre goal. Use the detailed skill sequence on this page as a preparation guide, while following the current instructions of an accredited SwimSafer instructor and assessor.
Assessment and e-certificate
Sport Singapore states that successful completion of the relevant online theory quiz and practical assessment is required for an e-certificate. Assessment readiness must be validated by an accredited SwimSafer instructor; participants should not be registered before they can safely perform the required competencies.
How to register
Primary-school participants can ask their school about its SwimSafer arrangements. Families may also register privately through a SportSG-accredited SwimSafer instructor. Registration route, lesson schedule, assessment venue and fees can differ by provider.
Check the official requirements
